Fire in Fountainview Park

March 20, 2004

Last fall there was some significant vandalism in Fountain View Park. A fire was lit in the tunnel in the playground structure. 

The RNA called the City of Winnipeg Public Works Department, and they came and took away the damaged piece. The City said they will attempt to reorder the damaged piece and replace it if possible. The City would not give any kind of timeline. 

At this time no repair has been made to the play structure.
